Welcome to Our School Library – The Heart of Our Learning Community
Our Library is a vibrant hub of activity, playing a key role in the life of our school community throughout the year. It hosts a variety of exciting events, including the popular Book Fair, National Simultaneous Storytime, Learning Journey, and NAIDOC Week celebrations.
One of the highlights each year is Book Week – a time for students to dive into stories, celebrate creativity, and explore the joy of reading.

Science
At Endeavour Schools, our specialist Science program offers students an exciting and hands-on way to explore the biological, physical, and technological world. Through scientific inquiry, students learn to ask meaningful questions and find evidence-based answers that help them better understand the world around them — and their place in it.
Science learning at Endeavour goes beyond facts and formulas. It encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Students engage in experiments, investigations, and problem-solving activities that challenge them to observe, question, collect and analyse data, and draw informed conclusions using scientific methods.
Each term, our program focuses on a different Science Understanding Strand from the Western Australian Curriculum — including Biological, Chemical, Physical, and Earth and Space Sciences. This ensures students build a strong foundation of scientific knowledge while developing skills they can apply in real-life situations.
Our goal is to foster ‘scientific literacy’ — helping students become informed, thoughtful individuals who can understand and evaluate the impact of science in their daily lives, their communities, and the world. Whether pursuing science-related careers or simply making informed decisions as global citizens, our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed.
At Endeavour, students experience the joy of discovery while developing a lifelong love of learning and a passion for exploring the ever-changing world around them.
Languages
At our school (Primary), students in Year 1 to Year 6 learn Indonesian as part of the Western Australian Curriculum: Languages. Our Indonesian program introduces students to the language and culture of one of Australia’s closest neighbours. Students develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing Indonesian through online resources, games, stories, songs and art. We aim to make language learning fun, meaningful, and accessible for all students.
Learning another language strengthens students’ understanding of how language works. This improves their English skills, memory, problem-solving and confidence in communication. It also encourages curiosity about different people, traditions, food, and ways of life. Through Indonesian, we aim to nurture curious, respectful, and globally aware learners who are well-prepared for an increasingly connected world.
Physical Education
At Endeavour Primary School, we believe being active is an important part of staying healthy and feeling good. Regular physical activity supports both physical health and mental wellbeing. To help all students succeed, we offer a range of programs that build confidence, skills, and enjoyment in being active.
In the early years, students explore and develop Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS). These include body management, locomotor skills, and object control. These basic skills form the building blocks for future play, games, dance, sports, and other active recreation.
In Years 3 and 4, students continue to refine these movement skills and begin applying them in simple games. They learn about playing safely, following rules, being fair, and including others. Students also learn how regular physical activity supports fitness and positive social skills.
In Years 5 and 6, the focus shifts to using movement skills in more complex and pressured game situations. Students experiment with time, space, and effort to improve their performance. They also learn about the roles of players, coaches, and umpires, and how positive and inclusive behaviour helps everyone participate successfully. Students in these year levels are encouraged to participate in interschool carnivals to apply their skills in real game settings.
